The Novel

In Winter 2024, we'll be focusing on Krishan Chander's 1957 Ek Gadhe ki Sarguzasht/Ek Gadhe ki Atmakatha, which follows a talking donkey around Delhi as he satirizes government bureaucracy, interviews Prime Minister Nehru, and judges a beauty contest. We'll be reading parts of this novel, as well as working on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
