Catalog Description:
Using the Extensive Reading method, students read Japanese books at their current reading level without dictionaries. Allows students to focus on the content of stories rather than translating each sentence. Students acquire cultural knowledge and expand their vocabulary. Prerequisite: either JAPAN 103 or JAPAN 134; recommended: ability to read hiragana characters. Credit/no-credit only.
