Doctoral Candidate Ying-Hsiu Chou was awarded the 2022-2023 Taiwanese Overseas Pioneers Grant [top.stpi.narl.org.tw] (TOP Grant). Funded by the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan, the goal of the TOP Grant is to nurture research talents overseas in the fields of humanities and social sciences. She will receive an award of $30,000 to support her dissertation research and writing on the Romantic Male in early 20th-century Chinese popular culture.
