Ping Xu

With over a decade of living in different cities across China, the United States and Thailand, Ping Xu's research has become increasingly focused on Chinese heritage‑language maintenance among transnational Chinese families. She has years of hands‑on front‑line Chinese‑teaching experience, and as a parent raising two bilingual children, she has kept extensive long‑term records of her children’s Chinese‑language learning and developed valuable observations on bilingual development.
