As of Winter 2023, the new major and minor in South Asian Languages and Cultures are live! The major is 65 credits. Students can go in depth with a single South Asian language or combine two South Asian languages from our offerings (Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu), along with literature and culture courses. The minor is 30 credits, and allows a student to study two years of a South Asian language along with other courses.
