THIS COURSE IS A J-E TRANSLATION WORKSHOP. STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP AN INDIVIDUALLY-SELECTED TRANSLATION PROJECT, WITH ONGOING INPUT FROM TEACHER AND PEERS. REQUIRES REGULAR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE.
Catalog Description:
Reading and translation of selected modern and contemporary texts. Close attention to grammar, syntax, and issues of translation practice. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.5 in either JAPAN 303, JAPAN 313, or JAPAN 334.
