Catalog Description:
Teaching methods course, focused on communicative 4-skills approaches to teaching foreign language in Japan (English as a foreign language) and in North America (Japanese as a foreign language). Includes portfolio development and job-seeking strategies. Prerequisite: graduate student standing; and either a minimum grade of 2.0 in JAPAN 203, a minimum grade of 2.0 in JAPAN 213, a minimum grade of 2.0 in JAPAN 234, or permission of instructor.
