I am a 2nd year PhD student in Multicultural Education. My research interest is in Multicultural Science Education, and how science looks like in different cultures. Before I came to the UW, I taught middle school science at an international school for two years in Jeju, a beautiful island in South Korea. And before that, I was in Canada for my bachelor’s and high school. My experience has allowed me to understand subtle nuances of English as well as Korean, and I hope to share this with you all in classes. I look forward to learning from diverse group of students, and creating a classroom where both students and TA work together to construct a meaningful learning experience.
