Oshogatsu-kai at the East Asia Library

Join us in celebrating the New Year and see our newest library acquisitions.  We will enjoy refreshments, poetry and a brief introduction to the newly acquired materials, some of which date back to the 17th century.  Use the link to RSVP

Azusa Tanaka, Japanese collection librarian, will present about the history of Japanese bookmaking.  Professor Paul Atkins, Chair of the department of Asian Languages and Literature will give a brief presentation on poetry materials, including:
