JSAUW Presents: Matsuri 2013 - Husky Avenue

The Japanese Student Association (JSA) at the University of Washington is holding its annual cultural festival “Matsuri,” on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 in the Husky Union Building (HUB) ballrooms from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Admission to Matsuri is free and open to the public. Event attendees can enjoy a wide assortment of culture-related games, food, and performances. Matsuri showcases many local performers who aim to promote Japanese culture; notable past performers include Emi Meyer and Kaze Daiko. This year various cultural entertainment will be showcased; band performances, Kendo, Taiko, Karate, Yosakoi traditional dance, and more!

Food purchases and participation in select games and auctions will require tickets, which will be sold prior to and on the day of the event. Additional information will be released as the date approaches.
