The 34th TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) will be offered Saturday, April 19, 2014. Registration is open between January 20 and February 10, 2014.
The exam proceedings will be administered by the Korean Consulate General in Seattle and is a great opportunity for Korean speakers to certify their language ability with the Korean government's official Korean proficiency test.
Exams are offered in six different levels from beginning (Level 1,2), intermediate (Level 3,4), and advanced (Level 5,6). Additional information about the tests and levels is all available on the Official TOPIK wepage www.topik.go.kr. Information about the local test including directions to the test site, test times, etc. is available on the UW Center for Korea webpage, http://jsis.washington.edu/korea/topik/. Sample exams with answer keys have also been uploaded to the UW Center for Korea webpage, so that students can roughly assess which level of exam is most appropriate.
